What To Expect

One Service. Fully Personalised to Your Dog.

Every kinesiology session is entirely tailored to your dog on the day.

There are no preset routines or protocols. Instead, each session is guided by your dog’s unique stress patterns, current state, and individual goals — whether those relate to behaviour, emotions, physical comfort, or overall balance.

What your dog needs today may be different from what they need next time, and kinesiology allows us to respond to that in a precise and compassionate way.

The Body Reveals the Story

During kinesiology sessions, it’s common for emotional themes, triggers, or unmet needs to become clearer — almost as if your dog’s body is communicating what it has been carrying.

This can offer valuable insight into:

  • What your dog is responding to
  • What may be contributing to stress or overwhelm
  • What your dog needs in order to feel safe and regulated
  • Which types of support will help them settle and thrive?

It can also be used proactively, to support balance, resilience, and emotional regulation before challenges escalate.

Anima Therapies is here for modern dog guardians who want to understand their dogs more deeply and support them more holistically.

What Kinesiology Is – and What It’s Not

Kinesiology IS:
✔ Gentle and non-invasive
✔ Individualized and dog-led
✔ Focused on root causes
✔ Supportive of the whole system
✔ Complementary to veterinary and behavioural care

Kinesiology is NOT:
✘ A replacement for veterinary diagnosis or treatment
✘ A training method
✘ Forcing change or suppressing behaviour
✘ A one-size-fits-all approach

My goal is to support your dog’s natural capacity to adapt and regulate, not to override or control it.

At Anima Therapies, I don’t aim to “fix” dogs — I listen, support, and guide the body back toward balance.

If you feel your dog could benefit from a more balanced system, clearer communication, or deeper support, Canine Kinesiology may be the missing piece.
